Shot Breakdown

The Tudors – Whitehall

  • Maya, Houdini, Photoshop
  • Modeled, UV’ed and textured Whitehall (largest structure) as well as the surrounding buildings. Set dressed the immediate surroundings.

Splice – Child Dren

  • Maya, Houdini, Photoshop, Bodypaint
  • Cleaned up scanned model, and textured to match actress

The Wild – Mechanical Wildebeast

  • Maya, Houdini, Photoshop, DPaint
  • Modeled, UVed and textured.

Urban Vermin – Junkyard

  • Maya, Houdini, Photoshop
  • Modeled all junkyard props excluding the ice cream truck. UV’ed and textured all assets, as well as all set dressing.

The Wild – Sewer

  • Maya, Houdini, Photoshop
  • Modeled, UV’ed and textured the entire sewer system for the film.

Chop Socky Chooks – Sewer

  • Maya, Photoshop
  • Modeled, UV’ed and textured sewer system, webbing and glowing eggs.

Urban Vermin – Treehouse Headquarters

  • Maya, Houdini, Photoshop
  • Modeled, UV’ed and textured all assets in the scene

The Wild – Wildebeast Volcano

  • Maya, Houdini, Photoshop, DPaint
  • Modeled, UVed and textured the majority of the cave for the final film sequence. The set uses multilayered color maps and alpha masks.
  • Responsible for a many of the large structures in the film

Urban Vermin – Garbage Conveyor System

  • Maya, Photoshop
  • Modeled, UV’ed, textured and rigged all props and sets in the scene.

The Wild – Volcano Exterior

  • Maya, Houdni, Photoshop
  • Modeled, UV’ed, and textured volcano exterior for the film climax. It uses a complex multi-layered texture map. Volcano was modeled and UV’ed to appear seamless, yet break into pieces.
